The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the eastern deserts of Riverside County.

The advisory is in effect from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. today.

West winds of 25-35 mph, with gusts of 40-45 mph, are expected to develop by late afternoon.

A similar advisory is in effect for Inland mountains from noon to 10 p.m.
