The following information has been provided by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

On April 28, 2008, at 4:40 p.m. the San Jacinto Police Department responded to the One Stop Market located at 163 South Ramona Boulevard, regarding an attempted robbery.

Upon arrival, patrol officers learned that a Hispanic male, in his 20’s, wearing a white shirt, blue pants and a light blue bandana on his head, entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled moments later when a customer entered the store. The suspect did not take anything and no one was harmed during the incident.
