Police responded to John W. North High School at midday Tuesday after several fights broke out during the school’s lunch period.
According to the Riverside Police Department, officers responded to the Third Street school when administrators asked for help in preventing additional fights.
Officers remained visible at the campus during the final period and as classes were dismissed — a police helicopter also circled the campus as students were released.
No additional fights were reported.
