The following information has been provided by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

On May 4th, members from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Perris station, deployed their R.O.V.E. units in the Mead Valley and Glenn Valley areas. The primary goal was to reduce illegal off-roading and excessive noise activity via public education contacts, warnings and citations.

Deputies used off-road vehicles to saturate the area and contact violators.

This operation resulted in eleven citations for off-road violations, and two off-road vehicles were towed for riding on county roads.
