A San Bernardino man has died after his motorcycle hit a Riverside bridge, throwing him into the riverbed below.

According to the Riverside County coroner’s office, Thomas  Curran, 53, hit the bridge on Van Buren Boulevard just north of Jurupa Road on Tuesday night. He was thrown over the side.

Curran died at 12:11 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside Community Hospital.
