A Huntington Beach man died Wednesday morning after falling through an opening in the floor of a church that’s being built in Chino.

According to the San Bernardino County coroner’s office, Young Hak Song, 57, fell nearly 20 feet to a concrete floor at the new Crossroads Community Church, in the 2600 block of Grand Avenue, just after 9 a.m.

Song was taken to Chino Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:01 a.m.

The sheriff’s department and CAL/OSHA are investigating.
