The following information has been provided by the Riverside Police Department:

On November 20, 2008 at 9:51 a.m. officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to the 4100 block of Yukon Way, after the Department’s Communication Center received a call of two gunshot victims located inside a residence.

Upon the officers arrival they discovered an adult male and an adult female with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel responded and pronounced the adult male deceased at the scene. The adult female was transported to Riverside Community Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

At the time of the shooting it is believed that the two victims were the only persons inside of the residence, and that one of the victims is also the shooter. The male and female resided together at the location.

Homicide Investigators responded and were assisted in their investigation by personnel from the Forensic Unit. There is no additional information available at this time.
