Warren O. Miller, 68, of Hemet, died Oct. 16, 2009, at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Medical Center in Loma Linda.

Services and interment are private. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Mr. Miller, who was born in Nebraska, lived in Hemet eight years. He was a truck driver for the Los Angeles Times for 25 years.

He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and watching football and NASCAR races.

Mr. Miller served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army for four years.

He is survived by his children, Deborah Warner, of Arizona, Sandra Kjellberg, and her husband, Bent, of Yucaipa, Laurie Smith, and her husband, Mark, of Hemet, John Warner of Arizona, and Danny Warner of San Jacinto; two brothers, Norman and Larry; two sisters, Carroll and Connie; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
