Victoria “Vicky” Miranda

mirandavictoria.png Victoria “Vicky” Miranda 76, passed away on November 28, 2008 in Banning. Born in Cabazon, CA on March 6, 1932, she lived all her life in Banning, CA.

Vicky was a retired housekeeper and caregiver, and also worked as a supervisor at Banning Shirt Factory. She was a very active Guadalupana and Curcillista, she worked many Curcillo’s.

Victoria was of Catholic faith and was affiliated with Precious Blood (Blessed Kateri) Church. “Our mother Vicky is a very beautiful woman, she loved to care for her children, she would help all of us in need. Her laughter would light up the room and her smile would make it shine.”

Victoria is survived by her mother, Cirila Miranda, Banning,CA; daughters, Patricia Araujo, Billings, MT, Sandra Lara, Banning, CA, Lucia Garcia, Banning, CA, Vera Flores, Banning, CA, Erlinda Valdez, Banning, CA; sisters, Emelie Ramos, Banning, CA, Maggie Cabading, San Diego, CA, Pauline Canales, Palm Springs, CA, Pam Espinoza, Banning, CA; brothers, Augustine Miranda, Banning, CA, Peter Miranda, Banning, CA; 21 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren,1 great-great grandchild and her only grandson from her deceased son Bobby Garcia. She was precede in death by her son, Robert “Bobby” Garcia; father, Victor Miranda and her brother Paul Miranda.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2008, from 4pm-8pm, with 7pm Rosary at Blessed Kateri Catholic Church, 157 W. Nicolet St., Banning. Services will be on Friday, December 5, 2008, at 1:00pm also at Blessed Kateri Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of wiefelsmortuary.com Banning ~ (951) 849-4527
