Thomas H. Dover, 61, of Hemet, died Dec. 19, 2009, at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

No services are planned. Inurnment is in Riverside National Cemetery. Hemet Valley Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Mr. Dover, who was born in Santa Monica, lived in Hemet 25 years. He was a machinist for 25 years.

He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

Mr. Dover loved the Dodgers, reading, and doing crossword puzzles.

He is survived by a son, Mike, of Oregon; his mother, Ruth Mathews of Hemet; a step-father, Chuck Mathews of Hemet; and two sisters, Gerry McCarthy of Duarte; and Janice Hancock of Oklahoma.
