This car is being made by Austin Energy, and Plug in Partners. It made it’s debut at the Inland Empire Auto Show (2007). It is a heavily modified Toyota Prius which operates primarily on electric power.
The idea of a vehicle you can charge up at home has fascinated consumers, but so far none are being made for the general public.
