On Friday, January 1, members of the County Problem Oriented Policing Team were conducting surveillance in the area when they received information of a home invasion robbery that had just occurred at a residence in the 78900 block of Chardonnay Way, Bermuda Dunes.

Deputies set-up a perimeter in the area of Adams Street just south of Avenue 38 where the subjects were seen jumping the wall from inside Dell Webb/Sun City. A 16-year-old juvenile was located hiding inside a shed at a nearby residence and the second subject, Domonic Jordan, was later found hiding inside his residence located nearby. Further information led to the arrest of a 17-year-old juvenile in Bermuda Dunes.

The surveillance and arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation into a series of cat burglaries within the gated retirement community of Del Webb/Sun City that occurred between the periods of January 04, 2010 and January 29, 2010.
