Stolen car from San Jacinto found in Rubidoux DUI stop

A stolen vehicle was recovered in the Rubidoux area of Riverside during a suspected DUI traffic stop, according the California Highway Patrol.

On January 31, at 3:36 a.m. a Buick Century was seen traveling slowly and swerving on the eastbound SR-60 by two CHP officers.  According to a press release the car had been reported as stolen, from San Jacinto, since January 30, 2010.

Officers stopped the car and arrested the driver, Joseph M. Paul, 21, of San Jacinto.  He was arrested on suspicion of DUI, having a stolen vehicle and driving without a valid license.

Three passengers were also arrested.
