Several downtown chefs to serve up bargain prices

Eight Riverside restaurants will participate in Restaurant Week in September. The event is both a fund raiser for the Riverside arts community and a chance to bring diners downtown with bargain prices.

Sept. 15-19, the restaurants will feature a special three-course dinner menu for $35 per person ($55 with wine) and lunch for $25 per person ($35 with wine).

The event includes several well-known names, including Tom Donahue, general manager of the Marriott Riverside; Chef Luis Martinez, Olio Ristorante; Chef/Owner Brein Clements, Restaurant Omakase; Chef Ryan Nagby, Ciao Bella Ristorante; Chef Leone Palagi, Mario’s Place; Chef Mario Marfia, Via Veneto Trilussa; Chef Matthew Sramek, Saffron’s Restaurant; and Chef de Cuisine James Ojeda, Café Sevilla.
