The 2008 holiday season started on Friday at the Riverside Plaza. A 50-foot tall tree was lighted in a ceremony that drew hundreds of Riversiders.
The Riverside Community College Marching Tigers marched down the shopping center’s main street.
Riverside Mayor Ron Loveridge and councilman Rusty Bailey welcomed the crowd and introduced Santa.
