Over the past five years, Riverside Downtown Partnership (RDP) has sponsored and hosted a window decorating contest where downtown businesses compete for the title of ‘Best Decorated Holiday Window’.

Natasha Ferguson, with the Riverside Downtown Partnership, talks about how the contest is taking a new twist this year. Four judges will rate the windows in person, but for the first time ever people will be able to vote online.

The combined scores from the judges and online viewers will be tallied up and the winner will be announced on stage at the Festival of Lights Switch-On Ceremony on Friday November 27th.

The winner will receive $100 and a family four-pack of ice skating rink tickets, $50 to the runner-up and both will be presented with certificates.
