Rick Dees remembers Michael Jackson

Singer Michael Jackson has died.

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. Thursday.

E! Online initially reported that Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center at approximately 1 p.m.

According to E!, authorities said paramedics were sent to Jackson’s Holmby Hills home shortly after noon, and that when they arrived, CPR was in progress on a person who was not breathing.

According to the LA Times, Jackson was in full cardiac arrest when rescue crews arrived.

Jackson was in rehearsals for a string of 50 London concerts scheduled to begin July 13.

He is survived by three children, Prince Michae,l 7; Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., 12; and Paris Michael Katherine, 11.
