Richard Francis McGuire, Sr., age 78 of Las Vegas, NV, entered eternal rest on Thanksgiving Day while spending the holiday with his loving family in Anaheim Hills. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was the son of Edgar and Dorothy McGuire. Following high school, Richard proudly served his country while in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He had worked more than quarter of a century in sales management within the insurance industry.

Richard is survived by his beloved Jean of Las Vegas, his devoted children: Dr. Rick and Colleen McGuire, Jr. of Anaheim Hills, Michael and Kristy McGuire of Omaha, Nebraska Vicki Adams and Ollie McNamee of Las Vegas, Shawn and Donna McGuire of Yutan, Nebraska and Patricia “Patti” McGuire of Las Vegas, 9 adored grandchildren: Virginia, Dave, Jeffrey, Shayne, Kyle, Chelsea, Kelsey, Bridgette, Caitlin and Bailey, and an expected great grandson, Henry “Hank” David due in January, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Vickie Korisko, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
