Raymond John Betancourt was born August 29, 1929 in Los Angeles, CA and passed away at his home on October 17, 2009.

Ray and Dora lived in Vista, CA and worked at Pine Tree Lumber Co. for 31 years. They moved to Hemet where he worked for the Village Retirement Center and retired in 2004.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dora; 3 children and their spouses, Dora Linda and Ed Barkley, Christina and Gerry Logan and John and Jeane Betancourt.

He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Raymond Barkley, Jessica Moore, Cyndi and Jody Lemke, John and Erin Betancourt, and Amber and Jason Brock; 16 great-grandchildren.
