Ralph Morris age 86, of Riverside, CA. passed away on 10/31/09. Ralph was born in Phila., PA on 11/5/22.
He led a full and active life to the end. He served as a shipfitter on the USS Alabama during WWII. While on leave in Chicago, he met Janet L. Hardin who became the love of his life. Ralph received an arts degree in LA and moved to the NYC area where he worked as a commercial artist.
He was creative director for Fingerhut Corp. in Minnesota until his “retirement” in 1986. He loved traveling, playing bridge, his many home improvement projects, and building fine furniture.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 64 years Janet, daughter Diana, sons Chris and Robin, and his brother Henry.
Other survivors include 7 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
There will be a memorial service at 10 am on Tues., 11/10 at Acheson & Graham, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, followed by a memorial lunch at the home of Robin Morris. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Mayo Clinic for Alzheimer’s Research. Acheson & Graham Mortuary (951) 688-1221
