The following information has been provided by the Riverside Police Department:

Officers are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect in a robbery that occurred on Tuesday at the Provident Bank located in the 3300 block of La Sierra Avenue.

The suspect entered the bank at about 10:30 a.m., and handed the bank teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied and provided the suspect with an unknown amount of cash. The robbery was captured on security video.After receiving the cash the suspect left the bank and fled in a possible small green unknown type vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 5’8”, to 6 ft tall, 150 pounds and possible between 50-60 years old.Any witnesses to the incident or anyone who can help identify the suspect, is asked to call Riverside Police Detective Mike Medici at (951) 353-7104 or Detective Jim Brandt at (951) 353-7137.
