Numbers Wednesday morning show Proposition 8 being approved by voters in California.
With 95.7 precincts reporting statewide, Proposition 8 is currently passing by a margin of 52.5%. Some networks, including CBS News, believe the significant number of uncounted ballots make the Prop. 8 too close to call.
The California Secretary of State reports 5,359,110 for Proposition 8 and 4,867,034 votes against the measure.
The success of Proposition 8 removes the right of same-sex couples to get married in California. The graph on the right shows how the different counties in the state voted on the issue.
