Patricia “Pat” Ruth Erler, born September 29, 1937 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away December 17, 2008 at her home in Hemet. She was 71 years of age. Just after graduating from Saint Joseph Academy in 1953 she married Chuch Erler, the love of her life. Together they moved to California in 1957.
Pat retired from the Southern California Gas Company in 1992 after 22 years of service.
She enjoyed cross stitching, reading and camping in the Sierras and the desert. She loved her ‘48 Willys Jeep, gatherings with her family and friends, road trips on the Harley, gambling, Manhattans and her Packers. Pat will be remembered as a loving, generous person who was always there to help others. Her smile, the sound of her laughter and her beautiful face will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Pat is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Chuck of Hemet; daughter Debbie Pillow and her husband David of Hemet; sons Steve Erler and his wife Ann of Idyllwild and Scott Erler and his wife Robin of Nathrop, Colorado; grandchildren David, Christopher and Amie.
A scripture service will he held on December 23, 2008 at 2pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Cremations Inc., 1501 W Florida Ave, Hemet, California.
