Ofelia Castaneda, age 64, a resident of San Jacinto, passed away on November 13, 2009 at Riverside Regional Medical Center.
Ofelia Castaneda, a loving and devoted mother, caring grandmother, and trusted friend will be missed dearly by the many people who loved her.
Ofelia was born in Jalisco Mexico, but spend the grater part of her life as a resident of Watson Ville, California. By the year 2000 she relocated to San Jacinto, California. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
Ofelia was an active member of the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving mother Rosa Beas, children Rosa Vega, Leticia Castaneda, Lupita Castaneda, Carmen Lopez, Federico Castaneda and grandchildren Kevin, Justin, Haley, Logan, Emily, Michael, Leslie, Anthony, Eric, Yasmin, Destinee, Daniel and Dallas.
Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Cremations Inc., 165 West 7th Street, San Jacinto California. Visitation and Rosary services will be at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 165 West 7th Street in San Jacinto, on November 17, 2009 at 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM . Rosary will be at 6:00 PM. A mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, on Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 9:30 AM and the graveside service will follow at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery.
