Congressman Ken Calvert, and Springboard Credit Counseling, will hold a free foreclosure workshop on Saturday. The purpose of the event is to help people in the Inland Empire deal with ongoing mortgage problems.

Springboard is offering mitigation counseling, and help dealing with banks. In an interview from Washington, D.C. Calvert says some bank representatives will be present to make deals with troubled homeowners.
Springboard advises homeowners to bring the following documents:
1. Loan documents and a recent mortgage statement
2. Two current pay stubs
3. Two most-recent ‘W2’s
4. Two most-recent tax returns
5. A list of your monthly expenses.
The workshop is free. It will be held at Crossroads Community Church located at 2331 Kellogg Avenue, in Corona. People with questions are asked to call 951-784-4300. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
