On January 30, 2010, the Menifee police conducted saturation patrols across the city as part of the City of Menifeeās commitment to public safety.
The goal of the saturation enforcement program was to remove impaired drivers from the highway and to bring awareness to the public of the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Operation results:
6 Motorists arrested for DUI
16 Citations issued for unlicensed drivers
12 Citations issued for suspended license
32 Vehicles towed
5 Citations issued for child safety seat violations
1 Felony warrant
1824 Vehicles through checkpoint
53 Vehicles into secondary
