Mary Patricia “Patty” Mueller

marymueller.jpg Mary Patricia “Patty” Mueller of Corona, California, went home to be with her Lord on October 28, 2009 in Corona, CA. She was born June 1, 1940 in Pekin, IL, daughter of George W. Cullivan and Esther L. Campbell.

Patty was a gifted singer with a beautiful voice. She had a professional singing contract and appeared on stage at the famous Coconut Grove Night Club! Patty was a wife, mother, homemaker, sister, and friend. Patty’s family was most important to her. She loved family gatherings and was a terrific hostess who made everyone feel comfortable and welcome in her home.

Patty was very close to her siblings as they were treasured by her. She was a generous, compassionate, and giving person who will be missed by everyone who knew her! It was important to Patty to give back to her community. She was a volunteer with Corona Regional Medical Center Hospice. Patty was an animal lover who loved her dogs Heidi and Chester.

Patty is survived by her husband, Walter W. Mueller, Jr. of Corona, CA; daughters, Laurie (Eric) Wizner of Orange, CA, Janet (Rick) Sorensen of Corona, CA and Julie (Allen) Sprague of Corona, CA; son, Jeffrey (Rose) Mueller of Riverside, CA; brother, Edward Cullivan of Santa Maria, CA; sisters, Peggy Cullivan of Benicia, CA and Debby Cullivan of Anaheim, CA. Patty was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Sorensen and her brother, Allen Cullivan.

Visiting will be held on Wed., November 4, 2009 at Thomas Miller Mortuary, 1118 E. 6th St., Corona, CA, 92879 from 4:00 to 8:00pm with a Vigil taking place at 6:30pm. A Mass will be held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 2410 W. Ontario Ave., Corona, CA 92882 on Thurs., November 5, 2009 at 11:00am with Father Neil Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside, CA 92505.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Patty’s name to JDRF Inland Empire Chapter, 2023 Chicago Ave. Riverside, CA, 92507. Juvenile Diabetes is a very meaningful cause to Patty and her family.
