Marshall Kim Hayes, age 50, of Perris, California, was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on November 9, 1959.  He passed away surrounded by Family on November 27, 2009, in Menifee, California.

Marshall was employed by San Bernardino County Fire Department as a Master Mechanic and volunteered with the Riverside County Fire Department as an Engineer/Water Tender Operator for many years.  He was dedicated to the service of others and to his loving family.  He was very active in his children’s youth activities as they were growing up.  Marshall spent any spare time he had on his boat enjoying the river.

Marshall was the son of the late William Hayes and Evelyn Hayes-Heil.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Martha Lynn Hayes; two daughters, Kimberly (Joseph) Price and Katherine Hayes; one son, William Hayes; two brothers, W. Michael (Pamela) Hayes and Patric (Rama) Hayes; five grandchilldren, Saryna Hayes, David Higuera II, Michael Hayes, Joseph Price Jr. and Joshua Hayes.

Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 1835 North Perris Blvd., Perris, California, 92571 where the family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm, Thursday, December 3, 2009.  Funeral Service will be at Immanuel Baptist Church, 28355 Baseline Street, Highland, CA 92346, at 10am on Friday, December 4, 2009.  The Family is planning a Farewell Reception following the Service.  Inurnment will be held privately.
