Margaret “Marge” Zehnder, passed away October 25, 2009 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at Alta Vista Care of Riverside, CA. She was the oldest of triplet girls born to Neil B. and Elsie Pierson on February 14, 1931. She was the last living of the Pierson family.

She was a resident of Corona, CA for over 55 years. She was co-owner of Circle City T.V. for several years, and was a member of the Elk’s Ladies. She also bowled with the Elk’s Lodge Corona #2045 for countless years. Her hobbies were her love of children and animals, along with watching reruns of Perry Mason. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sherry Ida Wood of Heaven.

She is survived by her six remaining children: Claudia (Brain) Duffield of Corona, CA, Neil (Judie) Zehnder of Corona, CA, Claude (Shelly) Zehnder II of Prosser, WA, Holly (David) Gwilt of Mira Loma, CA, Mark (Jennifer) Zehnder of Rialto, CA, and Allan (Lupe) Zehnder of Banning, CA.

She cherished her eleven grandchildren dearly: Matthew and Melissa Duffield, Meagan Norman, Justin Wood, Cole and Caryn Zehnder, Aaron and Eric Zehnder, Sarah and Jessica Gwilt, Victoria Zehnder and her two great granddaughters, Kashmir Zehnder and Juliya Norman.

She is also survived by her one brother-in-law, Clyde Johnson, of Reno, NV, her numerous nieces and nephews and great friends.

Her Memorial will be celebrated on November 14, 2009 at 11:00AM at Crestlawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 11500 Arlington Ave. Riverside, CA 92505. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to Charter Hospice Colton, CA or an animal shelter of your choice.
