Ken Stansbury talks about why he wants to be Riverside’s Mayor

Kenneth Stansbury is a qualified write-in candidate in Tuesday’s mayoral contest. Stansbury is joined in the race with another write-in candidate, Troy Kent, 18. He is a student at Arlington High School.

Stansbury recently spoke with InstantRiverside.com about why he’s running. He also made a campaign promise that would require an enormous amount of time.

Because of their late entries to the race, write-in candidates do not appear on the ballot, but votes for them do count.

Art Gage, a former member of the council, and Mayor Ron Loveridge, are the only names that will be printed on the ballot.
