Josephine V. Rivette, 96, of Winchester, died Dec. 19, 2009, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet.
No services are planned. Interment is private at Riverside National Cemetery. McWane Family Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Ms. Rivette, who was born in Los Angeles, lived in Winchester 13 years. She was a telephone switchboard assembler with AT&T for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Marguerita Valenzuela.
Ms. Rivette is survived by her son, Melvin Cabral of Pine Grove and four grandchildren.
