Josephine Castro-Micallef age 85, resident of Hemet, CA for 30+ years, passed away December 25, 2009 at her home. Josephine was born in San Jose, CA.

She was a Food Service Handler for 40+ years.

Josephine is survived by her daughters, Marie Stedward of Whittier, Diane Long of Homeland, Christine and husband Steve Irons of Bloomington, Ernestina Castro of San Bernardino, Cecelia Castro of Reno, NV and Loretta Castro; son, Jose M. Castro and wife Linda of Hemet; sisters, Jennie Aguilar of Yuba City, CA, Pearl Ashcroft of KY and Rose Talamante of San Jose; 20 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Raymond Micallef, in 2001.

Funeral Thurs., Jan 7, 2010 at 12 noon at Mt. View Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Arrangements Entrusted To Mt. View Mortuary (909) 882-2943
