Jean Marie Pickett, 88 of Redlands, CA. passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Redlands.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Pickett of Redlands and Carol Heinrich of Alvin, TX, son David Pickett of Canyon Lake, CA, one grandson, Michael Denton, two granddaughter Auriol Steel and Katie Pickett.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Rev. Norvall Pickett and a grandson, Mark Denton.

Jean was 3rd child of John Sydney Bain and Marie Chisholm Bain.  Jean assisted her husband in his role as a pastor for over 40 years.  Later in life, Jean entered college where she graduated with a Registered Nurse degree.  She worked as R.N. for 25 years, retiring from the V.A.  Hospital in Loma Linda.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 at Christ Community Church, 27240 Alabama St. Redlands, CA. Interment to follow at 12 noon at Evergreen Cemetery 4414 14th St. Riverside, CA.
