Hazel June Gillespie, age 89, of San Jacinto, California, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008, in Hemet. Hazel was born June 29, 1919 in Manistee, Michigan and has lived in San Jacinto for the last 26 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert Gillespie.

She is survived by her son, Robert L. Gillespie of Irvine, CA; her daughter, Ann L. Cantu of San Jacinto, California; her grandchild, Kevin Paul Gillespie. Hazel belonged to the Valley Community Church in San Jacinto and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pool and shuffle board in her spare time.

Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Crematory, Inc., 165 W. 7th Street, San Jacinto, California. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. (951) 487-6500
