Harriet Elizabeth Hauser, age 86, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother passed away in Sun City, California on January 23, 2010.  Harriet was born in Chicago on November 28, 1923 to her parents from Lima, Peru; Louis and Angelica Posth.

She graduated from St. Nicholas Catholic High School in Buffalo, New York and then she and her parents moved to Pasadena, California.  There she met her future husband of twenty-seven years, Robert J. Hauser from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and together they raised four boys.

She moved to Casa Blanca Villas community in Sun City in 1990.  Her home was her pride and joy, along with her family and her dog Muffin.  She enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, dancing, gardening and window shopping.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald.  Harriet is survived by her three sons, Tom (Claudia), Carey (Kim) and Jeff (Sigrid), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.,

A memorial service/celebration of life will be held on February 11th at 10:00am at Menifee Valley Memorial Park, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City with friends and family gathering afterwards at Casa Blance Villas Clubhouse at 27659 Camino Vacuna, Sun City.
