Harold Venus, 95, of Hemet, died Sept. 28, 2009, at Redlands Community Hospital in Redlands.

No services were planned. Interment will be at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.

Mr. Venus, who was born in Illinois, lived in Hemet 15 years. He was a machine repairman for Garrison Corp. for 16 years.

He served in the U.S. Army as a corporal for three years.

Mr. Venus had no known survivors.
