Frank Montejano 83, of Corona, California, died October 20, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA, with his family by his side. He was born May 2, 1926 in Huntington Park, CA, son of Benjamin R. Montejano and Gladys Ramirez.

Frank proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army, as a Staff Sergeant, for which he received many accommodations including The Bronze Star for Meritorious Achievement in ground combat, and a Purple Heart for wounds received in action.

Frank is survived by his wife, Adeline R. Montejano, of Corona, CA; daughters, Frances (Xavier) Lopez of Ontario, CA, Rebecca (Othon) Reyes of Corona, CA, and Marguerite (Craig) Raney of Grand Terrace, CA; 6 grandchildren and 3½ great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 from 4:00-8:00pm at Thomas Miller Mortuary, 1118 E. 6th St., Corona, CA 92879. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 10:00am at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 417 W. Grans Blvd., Corona, CA 92879 with Father Pat Guillen officiating. Interment will follow at 12:15pm in Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518, Staging Area #2.
