Frank Carbone, age 78 of Hemet, passed away at Hemet Valley Medical Center on October 7, 2009. Frank was born in Roseville, California on September 30, 1931 and lived in Hemet for five years. Prior to his years in Hemet, he lived in Roseville and Lincoln, California.

Frank was the youngest of four sons of Vito and Prima Carbone of Roseville. He graduated from Roseville High School in 1950 and was employed by the Southern Pacific Railroad in Roseville for 10 years. He enjoyed music, dancing and custom cars.

He is survived by his brother Peter S. Carbone of West Sacramento, California; son David F. Carbone of Millbrae, California, his two daughters Debra Strathman of Sebastopol, California and Denise Hamberlin of Mustang, Oklahoma, and two granddaughters.

To honor the memory of Frank, donations can be made in his name to the American Heart Association and the the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Roseville
