A flash-flood watch has been issued for Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening for most of southwestern California.
According to the National Weather Service, a storm approaching from the west will bring moderate to heavy rain starting Tuesday night.
Snow levels will start out high, but by Wednesday they should be approximately 6,500 feet. Mountain hailstorms also are possible on Wednesday. More precipitation is possible after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Flash flooding will be possible, especially in and below areas that burned just over a week ago in the Triangle/Freeway Complex Fire.
