A wildfire in the De Luz area west of Temecula burned nearly 100 acres caused the evacuation of a number of businesses Thursday afternoon.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, full containment is expected by 8 a.m. Friday; the fire was mapped at 94 acres and was 75 percent contained by 9:15 p.m. Thursday.
There are closures in place through the night for several roads in the area.
The blaze was reported at 2:34 p.m. at Avenida Del Oro and Rancho California Road.
First responders reported the fire was burning upslope in steep, dense terrain.

As of 3:25 p.m., an estimated 75-100 acres had burned and a 10-15 mph wind was blowing flames toward Winchester Road.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., several businesses were evacuated along Business Park Drive between Rancho California Road and Winchester Road.
The fire came close to several businesses and at least one house, but no structure damage has been reported.
Three helicopters, four air tankers and 10 fire crews battled the blaze.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause is under investigation.
