Erma Alice Cihal age 79, resident of Riverside for 50 years, passed away 11/2/09 due to cancer, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Erma was born 9/7/1930 in Huron, SD to Louie and Lena Jensen.

She was a bookkeeper for the family’s construction co, worked for Sears and retired from the main branch services Riverside library. Erma graduated from RCC with an Associate in Science with Distinction in 1989.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gayle Hamen, daughter Jeanine Neighbors, son David Solomon & granddaughter Rae Jean Lewis.

Erma is survived by her husband, Raymond Cihal; sister, Louise Barnes of Missouri; daughters, Deanne Solomon and Joni Sweaney, both of Riverside; Connie (Kent) Solomon of Oregon; Donna (David) Senn of Colorado; Debbie Kitzmiller of Nebraska; sons, Michael Solomon and Russell (Donna) Cihal of Riverside; and 20 beautiful grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and dear friend Linda Nuchols.

Memorial services, 11/13/09, 10am at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Mortuary, Riverside, CA with interment at 11am. Lunch/Reception will follow at 12pm VFW Post 9223. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chapman Hospice 6736 Palm Ave., Riverside, CA 92506
