Elsje Gersjes age 65 of Gavilan Hills, California passed away October 15, 2009 in Corona, California of Lung Cancer. She was born on December 10, 1943 in Indonesia.

Elsje was a Homemaker and was a member of the Catholic Faith.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Gersjes, her daughter and son-in-law, Daisy and Glen Hovey, her daughter, Marianne Geurse, her sons, Jesse Geurse and Nicholas Scott, her step-sons and step-daughters, Adrian Gersjes, Andy Gersjes, Katie Gersjes, and Daniel Gersjes.

She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cortner Chapel, 221 Brookside Avenue, Redlands, California. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday at the Chapel. Private Interment will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society .
