A Highland teen died early Wednesday morning when his motorcycle crashed on Interstate 10 in Colton.

According to the San Bernardino County coroner’s office, Edgar Hernandez-Uribe was headed east just east of Pepper Avenue in Colton when he lost control of his motorcycle at 3:31 a.m.

Hernandez-Uribe was ejected; paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
