The world’s tallest skyscraper has been open for about a month. It was unveiled to the public in a spectacular event, seen in video on the right. One feature was an observation deck that gave tourists a view from above.

The viewing platform was closed without much explanation on Sunday. Electrical issues appear to have been an issue leading to the the closure of the Burj Khalifa’s viewing platform.
The closure is indefinite.
The building is 2,717-foot tall; tourists bought viewing tickets priced at more than $27 each.
