The Riverside County Coroner has identified Clyde Arnett, 87, and his wife Mildred Arnett, 88, as the couple killed in a car crash in Yucaipa.  Their Ford Crown Victoria was hit by the driver of a Mercedes.

The accident happened at 12:42 a.m. on June 24th, according to the coroner’s office.  The couple was traveling northbound on Hwy 111; 1.4 miles northwest of of Gateway Drive.  Their vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and was rearended by the other vehicle.

Clyde and Mildred Arnett are from Yucaipa.
