Charles Carson, 64, of Hemet, died Nov. 3, 2009, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet.

No services are planned, and interment is private. Cremation Society of Riverside County in Romoland is handling arrangements.

Mr. Carson, who was born in Delaware, lived in Hemet. He worked for Chrysler as an engineer for 30 years.

He enjoyed cars, motorcycles, and playing blackjack in Las Vegas.

Mr. Carson is survived by his wife of 27 years, Peggy; a son, Jack, of Greenville; a brother, Jack, of Riverbank; and two grandchildren.
