Tickets are on sale now for the 2009 Nutcracker Tea presented by California Riverside Ballet.  A downtown Riverside holiday tradition, the tea will feature a condensed and narrated performance of “The Nutcracker” in the music room at the historic Mission Inn on Saturday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

“Our Nutcracker Tea is a fabulous way to introduce ballet to younger children since it is narrated and a shorter version of a much-loved holiday classic,” said Glenda Carhart, Artistic Director for The Nutcracker.

“This is truly a magical experience for our guests because they have an up close view of the performers.  From the tips of their toes to the intricate detailing of the costumes, guests of all ages will gain a new appreciation for the beauty of this ballet,” according to Carhart.

Returning once again is the crowd favorite basket drawing.  Raffle tickets will be sold to win holiday-themed gift baskets generously donated by families from CRB.
