Betty Griffin Ewing, 95, of Beaverton, Oregon, died Nov. 10, 2009, in Portland, Oregon.
Services will be held at a future date at Hearthstone at Murrayhill in Beaverton.
Mrs. Ewing, who was born in Los Angeles, lived in Hemet from 1976 to 2006.
She graduated from Eagle Rock High School in 1933 and attend Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles. She was an artist for Walt Disney Studios from 1938 to 1941, working on “Pinocchio,” “Dumbo,” “Bambi,” and “Fantasia.” She was a member of P.E.O.
Mrs. Ewing is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert; a daughter, Nancy; a son, Russ; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two nephews.
