Bailey Elisabeth Sloan

baileysloan.jpg Bailey Elisabeth Sloan 9/21/89 - 10/24/09 was killed in the early hours of the morning by a drunk driver while taking a friend home. She grew up in the Pass area attending Beaumont schools.

She was a Girl Scout, US Pony Club member, French President and an honor student, graduating with a golden seal on her diploma in 2007 from Beaumont High School. She was in her 3rd year at UCR focusing on art, languages and business preparing for a career in these areas. She was employed at Starbucks in Banning.

She spent her summer vacation visiting friends in Germany and London studying at art institutions. She was the first Bright Light in our lives and will always be remembered as a beautiful young woman, with such promise, who died helping a friend.

Please know that the wishes and prayers of her many friends have so comforted us.

Her immediate family includes her mother, Becky, her sister, Katie, and her father Michael as well as a large extended family. Bailey so loved her many friends, family and community.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Weaver Mortuary Chapel, 1177 Beaumont Ave., Beaumont, CA. Arrangements are being handled by Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Bailey E. Sloan Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Beaumont Unified School District.
