When Altura Credit Union opened a Riverside branch at 1616 University Avenue, the company decided to try something new.

What was once a Krispy Kreme is now one of the greenest bank branches in the Inland Empire. Elaine Holman, the vice president of facilities for Altura Credit Union, says the University Avenue branch is likely a model for future locations.
